What is The Goddess Project?

The Goddess Project offers free empowerment photography sessions to woman who have survived domestic violence or sexual assault. I created this project to give survivors the gift of being truely seen.

As a survivor myself, I know how those experiences can strip away your self-worth and leave you feeling less than. But here’s the truth - you are not less. You are strong, worthy, and beautiful. You deserve to feel like a goddess!

For the very first session, I stepped in front of the camera myself - to remind myself that I am still beautiful, strong and worthy! Now I want to offer that same experience to other woman. Through these sessions, you'll have a safe and supportive space to reconnect with your strength, reclaim your beauty, and see yourself as the goddess you are!

How does it work?

I have started this project myself, by offering one free empowerment session each month right here in Invercargill! Each session is designed to be a safe, celebratory and uplifting experience.

We'll work together on styling your outfits, location, and creating an environment where you feel comfortable and empowered!

With the support of the community, I hope the Goddess Project will grow, allowing us to reach and empower even more woman - together.

How do I book a session?

While I am currently funding one free Goddess Project session each month, with the help and support of the community, we can reach more woman, more quickly!

To inquire about a session, simply fill out the inquiry form at the bottom of this page or contact me directly.

Spaces are limited, but every inquiry will be added to the waitlist so no one misses out. Each month, I will personally contact the woman selected for the free session to arrange the details privately. If you're on the waitlist, your name will remain there until it's your turn, or until additional sessions become available through community support.

These sessions are strictly private and confidential. Your safety and privacy is my number one priority, and images or details from your session will never be shared without your consent.

What's included in a Goddess session?

60-90 minute session
Access to my client wardrobe and changing tent
25 edited digital images - minimum
You own private, password protected online gallery
Styling advice - guidance on outfits, hair, makeup and accessories and location
Ability to request specific outfits
Optional outfit and location changes
Up to 30 minutes travel

The Goddess Project session is valued at $444+ and is completely free for survivors

How can you help?

Donating or sponsoring a session - Your contribution can help cover costs and allow more survivors to take part
Spread the word - Sharing the project with friends, family or on social media to help survivors hear about it
Collaborate - If you're a business ( make-up artist, hair stylist, clothing store, retailer, venue etc ) partnering can help make sessions even more special

I am covering one free session a month myself, but if you'd like to help by donating or sponsoring an additional session, payments can be made directly to my business account using the reference code "TGP" ( The Goddess Project ) One session is valued at $444+, but I am offering them for $333 so that we can reach and help more woman. Any contributions made will be going straight back into the project by funding more sessions, covering the cost of gowns, accessories, travel and everything else that is needed to continue offering this project to survivors for free
